The licence
All entry text on this site — the definitions, key facts, body sections, tables and answers, roughly 397,000 words across 648 entries — is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). You may copy it, quote it, translate it, put it in your company wiki, use it in training material, and use it commercially.
What attribution needs to look like: name GrowthPedia, and link to the entry you took it from (or to growthpedia.org if you used several). That is the whole obligation.
What the licence does not cover
- The site design, stylesheet, templates and build code.
- The name GrowthPedia and the wordmark.
- Quoted material and titles belonging to the sources cited in an entry — those belong to their publishers.
Accuracy, and what happens when I am wrong
Entries are researched from primary documentation and checked before publishing, and errors are corrected in public on the corrections page. But this is a reference site written by one person about a field that changes without notice. It is not professional advice, and no entry is a guarantee about how a search engine will behave.
Test things on your own site before acting on them. Anything with real consequences — a migration, a redirect map, a mass de-indexing — deserves a second opinion regardless of where you read it.
Liability
The site is provided as is, with no warranty. I am not liable for losses arising from decisions made on the basis of what you read here. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited in law.
Outbound links
Citations point to other people's websites, which I do not control and whose content can change. All outbound links are unpaid and marked nofollow noopener. A link is not an endorsement, and no link on this site has ever been sold, exchanged or requested — see what this site earns.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes. The CC BY 4.0 licence on the entry text will not be revoked; that licence is irrevocable for material already published under it, which is deliberate.
