Privacy
No cookies. No analytics scripts. No third-party requests. No sign-up. There is almost nothing here to explain, which is the intention.
Cookies
This site sets none. Not one — not for analytics, not for preferences, not for consent to the cookies it does not set. That is why there is no cookie banner: there would be nothing to consent to.
Analytics
There is no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Fathom, no pixel, no tag manager and no session recording. I look at server logs — the same request records every web server writes — to see which pages get traffic and which return errors. Those logs contain your IP address, the page requested, the time, the referrer and your user-agent string. They rotate on the host's schedule and are not joined to anything else, sold, or shared.
I also use Google Search Console, which reports aggregated, anonymised search data about how this site appears in Google. It cannot identify you and it does not involve any code on these pages.
Third-party requests
Loading any page here makes requests to this domain and nowhere else. No web fonts from Google, no CDN, no embedded video, no social widgets, no comment system. Your browser does not talk to anyone but this server.
The only exception is a link you choose to click: outbound citations go to other people's websites, which have their own policies. They are all nofollow noopener.
If you email vera@growthpedia.org, I have your email and whatever you wrote, in an inbox, like any email. I do not add it to a mailing list — there is no mailing list. If your report leads to a correction, the correction is logged publicly, but your name and address are not published unless you ask to be credited.
Hosting
The site is hosted on shared hosting in the EU. The host processes requests and keeps standard server logs on my behalf.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what data I hold about you, and ask me to delete it. Given the above, the answer is usually "an email you sent me" or nothing at all. Ask at vera@growthpedia.org and I will answer honestly.
Changes
If this ever changes — if I add anything that tracks you — this page changes first and the date at the top changes with it. I do not intend to. A site that claims to have nothing to sell should not be quietly collecting an audience either.
